GTA VI Extended Look
CONFIRMEDWhat it is (confirmed)
Rockstar announced "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look", premiering on August 27, 2026 exclusively on Netflix — a first for a major game reveal — and on YouTube the same evening (21:00 ET). Confirmed by Rockstar's official channels and covered by Variety and other outlets (August 2026).
What to expect
The format is expected to be the longest look at GTA VI since the December 2023 reveal trailer — likely extended gameplay footage. Specifics (map sections, characters, gameplay systems) are not officially confirmed: anything beyond "an extended look at the game" is expectation, not fact (SPECULATION).
Why it matters for launch
The premiere does not change the release date: November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S remains locked in by Take-Two's CEO. August 27 is the first global traffic peak before launch — expect record viewership across Netflix and YouTube.
