GTA 6 Preload & Release Date: November 12 & 19, 2026 — Everything You Need

The two dates every GTA 6 player needs: preload opens November 12, 2026 and the game launches November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Here is the full picture.

What is confirmed

• Preload: starts November 12, 2026 (confirmed by Rockstar official announcement, August 2026).
• Launch: November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
• Physical editions contain download codes — there is no disc. Digital preload matters for everyone.
• PC: Rockstar has not announced a PC version or release window. Any PC talk is speculation.

How to prepare

1. Free up storage: the download size is not yet officially confirmed — clear space well beyond your largest current game.
2. Pre-order before the preload window so your console queues the download automatically.
3. Preload on day one of the window to avoid launch-week congestion.
