GTA 5 helicopter spawn locations· Guides

Reliable helicopter spawns in story mode

• Los Santos International Airport (LSIA) — helipads at the north-east edge of the airport, near the terminal.
• Vespucci Helipad — on the beachfront west of Del Perro.
• Sandy Shores Airfield — Trevor's airfield has a helicopter on a regular spawn cycle.
• Paleto Bay — spawns near the police station / hospital helipads.
• Fort Zancudo — military helicopters (Buzzard-like) spawn inside, but you'll earn a wanted level.

Fastest way to a heli

Call Merryweather (via the phone, after unlocking the option) or use the cheat that spawns a Buzzard (see Cheats). For free play, LSIA and the Sandy Shores Airfield are the most reliable.
