GTA 5 military base (Fort Zancudo) — jets, tanks and 5 stars· Guides
CONFIRMADO
Fort Zancudo — what's inside
Fort Zancudo is the US Army base in the north-west of Blaine County. It contains:
- Rhino tanks — parked around the base (see our tank guide).
- Fighter jets (P-996 Lazer) — spawn on the runways; steal one for the fastest way to fly.
- Vast hangars and a control tower — the tower's roof is a famous jump spot.
The 5-star problem
Entering the base before story completion gives you a wanted level (up to 5 stars) and the army attacks with jets and tanks. Tips:
- Use the tunnels/underpasses on approach to reduce exposure.
- Steal a jet from the runway edge and take off immediately — flying out is easier than driving.
- After the story, clearance is granted and you can walk in freely.
